Report Customization

Control what appears in your downloaded pentest reports and executive summaries.

Report customization lets you control what appears in your downloaded PDF reports and executive summaries. Reports and executive summaries are configured independently, and your settings apply globally to all future downloads.

A live PDF preview updates as you adjust options, so you can review the output before saving.

Report customization is available on Standard+ packages and above. To inquire about upgrading your Portal package, contact your account manager or reach out to sales.

Customize your report

  1. Select your project in the project bar and open the Reports & Executive Summaries tab.

  2. Click Customize Report to open the customization panel.

The Customize Report and Customize Executive Summary buttons on the Reports & Executive Summaries tab

The following options are available in the report customization panel:

  • Custom summary text - A rich text editor lets you add content to the report's Additional Information section. This text is labeled in the document as added by your company and not verified by Software Secured. Common uses include your testing cadence, the version tested, planned retest dates, or your security program commitments.

  • Company logo - Upload a PNG, JPEG, or JPG file (max 5 MB). Your logo appears on the cover page alongside the Software Secured logo. This is useful for sharing reports externally or publishing them in a Trust Center.

  • Custom appendix - Add a custom appendix to the report with a configurable title and body content.
